Overview
As a user leveraging B2B functionality, the Reseller Portal will provide a portal for your resellers to log in and place B2B orders.
Resellers will also be able to view products, download a feed file, receive an API token for integrating, and configure payment settings and cards on file.
How to Use the Reseller Portal
Before using your Reseller Portal, you must get a domain configured. For assistance, reach out to your customer success manager or the Flxpoint support team at Support@Flxpoint.com.
Once configured, you can view your domain under Account Settings→ Resellers by clicking on the companyname.flxpoint.com link.
Once set up, the Reseller Portal can be used for your B2B customers. Your resellers can do the following:
- Apply for your dropship program (automatic or manual approval)
- See information about your program and how to contact you
- See the status of their application (Pending, Denied, Approved, Active)
- Search through the products that you offer via your program
- Download a regularly updated CSV file containing product, quantity, and pricing data for products
- Place an order through a checkout/shopping cart process
- Save a credit card on file to be used for dropship orders (powered by Stripe)
- Configure "auto authorize" settings to approve payments to be charged
- Manage orders that are placed with you, i.e. order state, invoice, shipments, etc.
- Export functionalities for orders placed with you
Reseller Portal Settings
You can choose to collect resellers' name, company name, email, tax ID, and website during sign up.
You can require that a reseller provide their tax ID and/or company website. You can also auto-approve all new resellers by toggling this setting to "Yes."
In your reseller program details, be sure to include details that will be valuable for your resellers, including a company background, your dropshipping policies, and how resellers can contact you. You'll also want to provide an up-to-date company name and logo.
Almost everything you enable and fill out in this section will display on your Flxpoint Reseller Portal via your portal's subdomain.
