FedEx as a Channel
Summary
The FedEx integration is a shipment-retrieval connection, not a storefront or order channel. Its only supported operation is Get Shipments, which matches FedEx shipments back to Flxpoint fulfillment requests. It does not provide inventory or send fulfillment requests. Connection uses a Client API Key, Client Secret Key, and an environment selection (Sandbox or Production).
FedEx as a Channel connects using a Client API Key, Client Secret Key, and Environment (Sandbox or Production) from your FedEx developer project. Add FedEx as a channel, configure Get Shipments, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection, enter the values, then Test Connection → Save Connection. In step 2 of configuration, select which FedEx reference field (Purchase Orders or Customer Reference) carries your Flxpoint Fulfillment Request #.
Put the FR number on the FedEx shipment
For shipments to match, enter your Flxpoint Fulfillment Request # in the FedEx Purchase Orders or Customer Reference field when creating the shipment, then select that same field in step 2 of the Flxpoint configuration. Without it, shipments cannot be matched to orders.
Client Secret can be regenerated
The Client Secret Key is shown when you create the FedEx project. If it is lost, regenerate it from the Project Overview page in FedEx.
Match the environment
Select Sandbox or Production to match your FedEx project. A mismatch prevents the connection from working.
Shipment-only integration
This connection does not provide inventory or send orders. Use it purely to pull tracking and shipments for existing fulfillment requests.
Field mapping for this operation is configured with Flxpoint Support.
