API & EDI
API Authentication
Every Flxpoint API request must be authenticated with an access token passed as a bearer token in the Authorization header. Flxpoint issues separate, context-scoped tokens for Sources, Channels, and Resellers (B2B); this page covers each token type, how to generate and send it, and how to resolve 401 errors.
Integrating to FLX EDI
A quick orientation to Flxpoint EDI (X12 EDI over SFTP) (supported transactions, SFTP basics, and getting started) that bridges to the dedicated EDI Help Center for the full, always-current spec.
Webhooks
Flxpoint webhooks send an HTTPS POST to a URL you configure whenever a subscribed event occurs, optionally scoped to a single source or channel, so your systems can react to events like a fulfillment request entering processing.
XML Integration
XML is a structured, text-based format Flxpoint uses to exchange product, inventory, pricing, and order data, either through scheduled FTP file feeds or live API responses, with each field mapped to a matching Flxpoint field.
Resellers
Payment Providers
Payment Providers lets you capture payment on B2B Reseller Portal orders via Stripe (credit card and ACH): resellers authorize payment, you capture it, and funds post to your Stripe account. Square is not supported.
Reseller Channels
Reseller Channels are custom B2B sales channels (reseller groups) that carry their own invoicing, pricing, listing status, product mapping, order-import rules, and shipping mappings, connecting to an external B2B platform or the Flxpoint Reseller Portal.
Reseller Management
Flxpoint's B2B tools have three parts that work together: Reseller Channels, Resellers, and the Reseller Portal, with Payment Providers connecting Stripe to capture payment on portal orders.
Reseller Portal
The Reseller Portal is a branded subdomain where B2B customers apply, browse your catalog, place orders, pay by saved card via Stripe, and manage their orders; a domain must be configured by Flxpoint before it can be used.
Resellers
A reseller is an individual B2B customer who signs up, goes through approval, gets assigned to a reseller channel, and can have reseller-specific payment capturing and invoicing rules plus their own API key.
