Reseller Channels

July 20, 2026

Summary

Reseller Channels are custom B2B sales channels (reseller groups) that carry their own invoicing, pricing, listing status, product mapping, order-import rules, and shipping mappings, connecting to an external B2B platform or the Flxpoint Reseller Portal.

Reseller Channels are custom B2B sales channels — effectively reseller groups — that carry their own invoicing, pricing, listing status, product mapping, order-import rules, and shipping mappings. A channel connects either to an external B2B platform via API or to the Flxpoint Reseller Portal.

  • Reseller groups — one channel per group that shares pricing and product rules.
  • Pricing rules — if/then rules to adjust the list price sent to that channel.
  • Invoicing — receipts, payment collection, and cost-generation rules.
  • Mappings — product data, order import, and shipping mappings per channel.
SectionWhat it controls
InvoicingOrder receipts to resellers, whether you capture payment, and cost generation (flat-rate shipping or dropship fees by location/weight)
PricingIf/then rules to manipulate the list price sent to this channel (only applies to the channel shown top-left)
Listing StatusRules to change product status (e.g. delist a SKU this channel is not approved to sell)
Product MappingMaps Flxpoint product data to the channel, plus the product-data sync schedule
Order ImportIf/then rules applied to orders imported for this channel (alerts, status changes, and more)
Shipping MappingMaps a reseller's shipping method name to your internal Shipping Policies
ChannelPurpose
Default reseller channelA holding area new signups land in until you approve and reassign them — create this first
Additional channelsGroup-specific pricing, invoicing, and mapping; assign each reseller from the Resellers page and click Update
Note: New reseller enrollments land in the default reseller channel as a holding area. Set this up before your other channels, then approve and reassign resellers from there.
Note: Rules you build in Pricing, Listing Status, and Order Import apply only to the channel displayed in the top-left corner — switch channels to edit another group's rules.
Note: Think of a channel as a reseller group. If all B2B customers share the same pricing, invoicing, and product data, one channel is enough.
Note: A shipping-method name (e.g. Cheapest Way) must be mapped to a Shipping Policy you created under global settings, or the channel's shipping will not resolve.

New reseller signups all land in one channel

Expected — that is the default reseller channel acting as a holding area. Approve each reseller and reassign them to the correct channel from the Resellers page, then click Update.

A pricing or listing rule is not affecting a reseller

Rules apply to the channel shown in the top-left, and only to resellers assigned to that channel. Confirm the reseller is on the intended channel and that you edited that channel's rules.

Where do I find reseller channels?

Click the Channels icon on the left, then the Reseller Channels tab.

How does a reseller get assigned to a channel?

On the Resellers page, open the reseller, choose the channel from the dropdown, and click Update. With a single channel, assignment is automatic.

Can I give one reseller group a bigger discount?

Yes — use the channel's Pricing if/then rules (for example, multiply list price by 0.85). The rule applies only to that channel.

What does a reseller channel connect to?

Either an external B2B platform via API, or the Flxpoint Reseller Portal.
