Summary

Payment Providers lets you capture payment on B2B Reseller Portal orders via Stripe (credit card and ACH) — resellers authorize payment, you capture it, and funds post to your Stripe account. Square is not supported.

OVERVIEW

Payment Providers let you capture payment for B2B orders placed through the Reseller Portal. Flxpoint integrates with Stripe, using your publishable and secret keys to accept credit card and ACH payments. Square is not supported.

STRIPE CONFIGURATION

Enabled	Required — turn on Use Stripe as payment provider.
Publishable Key	Required — from Stripe, Developers, API Keys.
Secret Key	Required — from Stripe, Developers, API Keys.
Payment Methods	Required — enable Credit Card and/or ACH.

PAYMENT FLOW

Step	Who / what
Add a payment method	The reseller adds a card in the portal.
Set preferences	The reseller can configure auto-authorize.
Authorize	The reseller typically authorizes payment on their orders.
Capture	You capture payment on authorized orders.
Payout	Captured funds post to your Stripe account.

Test the connection before saving

Note: After pasting your Stripe Publishable and Secret keys (Settings, Payments, Providers), test the connection before saving, and enable Use Stripe as payment provider.

Payments are for portal B2B orders

Note: Payment Providers capture payment on Reseller Portal B2B orders — this is separate from your own Flxpoint subscription billing.

Square is not supported

Note: Square Payments is not supported in Flxpoint and is being removed as an option. Use Stripe.

Capture is a separate step from authorize

Note: Resellers authorize payment on their orders, but funds are only collected once you capture the authorized orders.

What can resellers pay with?

Whatever you enable: Credit Card (card on file) and/or ACH (bank payment).

How does the money actually get collected?

Resellers authorize payment on their orders; you then capture the authorized orders, and captured funds post to your Stripe account.
