Notifications
Summary
Explains Flxpoint's two built-in notification types, Global Notifications and Job Completion Notifications, how recipients are configured, and where to review notification history.
Notifications keep you informed without any custom setup: opt into Global Notifications for account events, and review Job Completion Notifications logged after each integration run. Recipients follow your notification email settings. For configurable, event-driven emails, see Custom Alerts.
- Global notifications — opt in to account-event emails; they cannot be customized.
- Job completion — every integration run logs a result you can review.
- Email routing — send to the default email or override it with your own.
- Enable or disable — toggle each global notification on or off in Settings.
| Type | What it is |
|---|---|
| Global notifications | Opt-in, non-customizable emails for account events — completion signals (e.g. Source Invoice Imported, New Reseller Signup) or investigation signals (e.g. New Inventory Imported, Cost of Goods Mismatch) |
| Job completion notifications | Logged whenever an operation completes, with counts (e.g. a Get Inventory Primary run shows products imported, updated, new, and archived) |
| Custom alerts | Configurable emails you build and tie to an event — covered in Custom Alerts |
Where to see job completion notifications
| Location | Shows |
|---|---|
| Integration notification bar | The 5 most recent completions for that source or channel integration (Sources or Channels, Integrations, scroll to the bar) |
| Red Bell icon (top right) | Full history, with filters and a search bar to narrow results |
You keep getting an email you do not want (for example, order cannot be routed)
Turn that global notification off: Settings, Notifications, click its toggle to disable, then Update. Only the notifications you opt into are sent.
You are not receiving a notification you expected
Confirm the notification is enabled under Settings, Notifications, and check the Notification Default Email (and any Override Notification Email) is a current, correct address.
How do I enable or disable a notification?
Settings, Notifications, click a toggle to enable or disable it, then Update in the bottom left to save.
Who receives notifications, and can I add more than one address?
They go to the Notification Default Email unless you enable Override Notification Email. The override accepts multiple addresses separated by commas.
Where can I see the history of job completions?
Click the Red Bell icon in the top right for full history with filters and search. An integration's own bar shows only its 5 most recent.
Can I change the content or conditions of a global notification?
No — global notifications are fixed. Use a Custom Alert when you need custom content, recipients, or trigger conditions.
