Summary

Sage Intacct is a cloud-based financial management and accounting platform. In Flxpoint you add it as an accounting integration and connect using Sage Intacct Web Services credentials, after authorizing the Flxpoint Sender ID in Sage Intacct. Once connected, Flxpoint can export sales orders, purchase orders and shipments to your Sage Intacct company.

Export Orders
Sends completed sales orders from Flxpoint to Sage Intacct as sales order records.
Export Purchase Orders
Sends purchase orders from Flxpoint to Sage Intacct as purchase order records.
Sync Shipments
Sends shipment records to Sage Intacct, linked back to the originating sales order.

Add Sage Intacct from the Accounting area with the + icon. Before connecting, authorize the Flxpoint Sender ID in Sage Intacct. Then enter your Web Services credentials, click Test ConnectionSave Connection.

Company IDRequired
Typically the ID you type when logging into Sage Intacct.
User IDRequired
A dedicated Web Services user is recommended.
User PasswordRequired
The password for that User ID.
Flxpoint Sender ID Authorized?Required
Confirm the "Flxpoint" Sender ID has been authorized in Sage Intacct before testing.
Connecting with a dedicated Web Services user (rather than a personal login) keeps the integration stable and auditable. For extended operation setup and field mapping guidance, contact support@flxpoint.com.

Authorize the Flxpoint Sender ID before testing

Sage Intacct rejects Web Services calls from unauthorized senders. Authorize the Flxpoint Sender ID in Sage Intacct first, or Test Connection returns an invalid Web Services authorization error.

Use a dedicated Web Services user

Connecting with a dedicated Web Services user (rather than a personal login) keeps the integration stable and auditable.

Invalid Web Services authorization error on Test Connection
The Flxpoint Sender ID is not authorized in Sage Intacct, or the Company ID / User ID / password is wrong. Authorize the Sender ID and re-check the credentials, then test again.

What credentials do I need?
A Sage Intacct Company ID, a User ID (a Web Services user is recommended), and that user's password, plus an authorized Flxpoint Sender ID.
Why does Test Connection fail even with correct credentials?
Most often the Flxpoint Sender ID has not been authorized in Sage Intacct. Authorize it, then test again.
