Freight Club as a Source

July 17, 2026

Summary

Freight Club is a freight/LTL logistics platform integrated with Flxpoint primarily for Get Shipments — pulling tracking numbers, shipment dates, and carrier details for freight orders back into Flxpoint. The connection requires a single API Token generated from your Freight Club account. Map at minimum Tracking Number and Shipment Date in the Get Shipments template; contact support@flxpoint.com for guidance on additional fields or operations.

Get Shipments
Pulls Freight Club shipment tracking and ship dates into Flxpoint.

Freight Club connects with a single API Token. Add a Freight Club source, start configuring Get Shipments, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection, enter the token, then Test ConnectionSave Connection.

API TokenRequired
Your Freight Club API Token, generated from your Freight Club account under Settings → Integrations. Required to authenticate Get Shipments requests.
Get Shipments requires a Mapping Template with, at minimum, Tracking Number and Shipment Date mapped — unmapped required fields cause the shipment import to fail. Freight Club enforces API rate limits, so keep the sync fetch window (e.g., last 30 days) reasonably narrow. For guidance on additional operations beyond Get Shipments, contact support@flxpoint.com.

API Token obtained from the Freight Club portal — generate it in Settings → Integrations

Log into the Freight Club portal, navigate to Settings or Integrations, and look for Generate API Token. Copy the token and paste it into the New Freight Club Connection form in Flxpoint. Keep the token secure — it provides access to your Freight Club account data. If you can't find it, contact Freight Club support for assistance.

Get Shipments documented; additional operations available based on your account setup

The Freight Club help article covers Get Shipments as the primary documented operation for retrieving freight tracking from Freight Club. Additional operations (e.g., Send Orders) may be available — contact Flxpoint Support at support@flxpoint.com to confirm what is enabled for your account.

Required mapping fields: Tracking Number and Shipment Date — must be mapped in your template

When configuring the Get Shipments mapping template, Tracking Number and Shipment Date are required fields. If either is unmapped, shipment data will not import correctly. Available optional fields: Carrier Code, Carrier Name, Method, Shipping Cost, Way Bill Number, Note.

Sync frequency and API rate limits — set fetch window to avoid hitting Freight Club API limits

Configure the sync frequency (e.g., last 30 days) in Get Shipments settings to control how far back shipment data is fetched. Exceeding Freight Club's API rate limits will pause the integration and trigger notifications. Monitor job logs and adjust frequency if rate limit errors appear.

Field mapping for this operation is configured with Flxpoint Support.

No shipments importing — missing required field mapping or API connection failure
Two causes to check: (1) Missing required field mapping — confirm Tracking Number and Shipment Date are both mapped in the Get Shipments template; unmapped required fields cause the entire import to fail; (2) API connection issue — verify the API Token in the Freight Club connection is still valid; tokens can expire or be revoked. Go to the Freight Club portal to confirm the token is active, regenerate if needed, and update the Flxpoint connection.
Get Shipments failing — API rate limit exceeded
If Get Shipments fails with a rate limit error from Freight Club: (1) reduce the sync frequency (run less often); (2) shorten the fetch window (e.g., from 30 days to 7 days) to reduce the number of records per run; (3) check the job log for the specific rate limit error and the retry timing. Monitor job logs over several days to confirm the rate limit issue is resolved after adjustment.

How do I set up Freight Club Get Shipments in Flxpoint?
Go to Sources → + Add Source and complete the Source Wizard (Vendor Warehouse recommended). After saving, go to Integrations → Get Shipments → Start Creating Integrations and select Freight Club. On the New Freight Club Connection screen, enter your Connection Name and API Token (from the Freight Club portal). Click Test Connection, then Save Connection. Configure sync frequency (e.g., last 30 days), then define a Mapping Template — map at minimum: Tracking Number → Shipment ID and Shipment Date → Shipped At. Save and enable scheduling.
What fields does Freight Club Get Shipments return?
Shipment-level fields: Tracking Number (required), Shipment Date → Shipped At (required), Carrier Code → Carrier (optional), Carrier → Carrier Name (optional), Method → Shipping Method (optional), Shipping Cost → Cost (optional), Way Bill Number → Waybill (optional), Note → Comments (optional). Get Shipments does not currently document item-level SKU/quantity fields — the integration is focused on header-level freight tracking.
