A Flxpoint FTP account is an FTP location that Flxpoint hosts for you, created under Settings, FTP Accounts. Its username is a fixed prefix plus a suffix you choose. This is separate from entering a supplier’s own FTP credentials when connecting a source.
It is used to move product, order, and shipment files between Flxpoint and the other party.

Data retention: files older than 90 days are automatically deleted from Flxpoint's hosted FTP (ftp.flxpoint.com). The hosted FTP is intended for temporary file transfers only - it is not designed for long-term data storage, so download or migrate anything you want to retain.
How do I create a Flxpoint FTP account?
Settings, scroll to the bottom of the blue menu bar, FTP Accounts, +Add FTP Account; enter a Name, Username Suffix, and Password, then Save.
What is my FTP username?
The fixed Username Prefix plus the Username Suffix you chose when creating the account.
How do I edit an existing FTP account?
Settings, FTP Accounts, click the gear icon on the account, make your edits, then Save.
Is this the same as my supplier’s FTP credentials?
No. This is an FTP location Flxpoint hosts for you. A supplier’s FTP host, user, and password are entered on that supplier’s source connection instead.
