ASI as a Source

The usual cause is that no warehouse is selected on the connection. Both Get Inventory Primary and Secondary need at least one warehouse. Open the ASI source, go to Configure Settings, and confirm a warehouse is selected. Also confirm you picked the right ASI integration: ASI only (for US) and ASI Canada show different warehouse lists, so the wrong one shows no matching warehouses.

Re-enter the username and password exactly as ASI provided them: both are case-sensitive. The host defaults to 4.79.60.130 and the port to 21; change them only if ASI gave you different values. If ASI recently rotated your credentials, update them in Flxpoint. If it still fails, contact your ASI representative to confirm your current FTP access.

ASI images are populated by a separate daily background job, not by the Get Inventory run itself. After your first import, allow up to 24 hours for images to appear. If they are still missing after that, contact Flxpoint Support to confirm the image job is active for your account.

Post-Mapping Workflow Do Not Import rules stop new items from importing, but they do not remove products already in your catalog. To shrink an existing catalog, go to Products → Source Inventory, filter by the ASI source, select the items, and use Actions → Delete. Then keep the Do Not Import rule in place so they are not re-imported on the next run.

ASI requires all nine fields on every order: Name, Address1, City, State, Country, Customer PO, Price, Qty and SKU. Check the job notification for the failing field and confirm your Send Fulfillment Requests template maps every one to a non-empty value. Watch Country (some channels omit it on domestic orders) and Customer PO (must be unique per order).

Get Shipments uses a separate API connection, not the FTP connection. Confirm your ASI Customer ID is entered in the Get Shipments connection: it is the only setting required. If it is correct and shipments still don't return, confirm with ASI that the orders have shipped and that your account has tracking access.

Your FTP username and password are provided directly by ASI, not by Flxpoint. Contact your ASI representative to request API/FTP access. The host defaults to 4.79.60.130 and the port to 21: both are pre-filled and can be changed if ASI provides different details for your account.

Primary downloads ASI's data files: CategoryAndSubCategory.xls, ProductDimensions.csv, DetailedProductSpec.csv and your customer-specific inventory feed, plus a SKU-to-image map used to attach images to products and variants. The final product description combines the description, marketing info and key fields.

Images are managed by a separate daily background job that stores them in Flxpoint's image store and builds a map of SKU to image URL. Get Inventory Primary uses that map to attach images to products and variants. Because the job runs separately, allow up to 24 hours after your first import for images to appear.

Primary handles the full catalog import: product data, categories, dimensions, descriptions and images. Secondary is faster and more targeted: it downloads only your customer-specific feed and updates warehouse quantities based on your warehouse selection. Use Primary for full syncs (typically daily) and Secondary for more frequent inventory refreshes.

Nine fields must be present and non-empty on every order: Name, Address1, City, State, Country, Customer PO, Price, Qty and SKU. ASI also supports approved shipping methods: refer to the ASI US and ASI Canada shipping-mapping tables in your Send Fulfillment Requests template for the accepted shipping codes.

ASI returns a Ship Via code that is a supplier-specific carrier identifier and may not match your channel's carrier names. Add a conditional mapping rule in your Get Shipments template to translate it into a meaningful Carrier and Method for your channel. Only Ship Via and Tracking Number are available for mapping.
