ASI as a Source
Summary
ASI (Advertising Specialty Institute) is a supplier of promotional products. Flxpoint connects to ASI over FTP using credentials ASI provides, with separate USA and Canada connection options; Get Shipments uses a separate API-based connection that needs only your ASI Customer ID.
In Flxpoint, open Sources (the building icon in the left nav), click the + to add a source, and choose ASI only (for US) or ASI Canada, enter the values below, then save and activate the connection.

Select at least one warehouse, or quantities won't be set
Both Get Inventory Primary and Secondary need at least one warehouse selected in the connection settings. ASI only (for US) shows US warehouses and ASI Canada shows Canada warehouses. With no warehouse selected the feed still downloads, but no quantities are imported.
Use ASI only (for US) unless your account is Canada-based
When you add the source you choose ASI only (for US) or ASI Canada. Most users should pick the US integration. The two present different warehouse lists, so choosing the wrong one leaves you with warehouses that don't match your account and quantities may not populate.
Get Shipments uses a separate API connection: Customer ID and Customer Certificate are needed
Get Shipments does not use the FTP connection. It uses an API-based connection that requires your ASI Customer ID and Customer Certificate; no other settings are needed. Only Ship Via and Tracking Number are available for mapping.
Item-level shipment data isn't available
ASI does not return item-level information in shipments, so Flxpoint distributes the Fulfillment Request's line items across the available shipment records. If an order ships in multiple packages, items are tied to the available shipments rather than to specific packages.
Full catalog import: products, pricing, dimensions, categories, descriptions and images
CategoryAndSubCategory.xls, ProductDimensions.csv, DetailedProductSpec.csv and your customer-specific feed, plus a SKU-to-image map so products and variants get their images. The product description is built by combining the description, marketing info and key fields. Variation structure and mapping from tags are supported; some custom fields are not.
