ASI US/CA with Etilize as a Source

July 17, 2026

Summary

ASI US/CA with Etilize combines ASI's electronics distribution catalog with Etilize's enriched product content — detailed specifications, attributes, and images. No connection credentials are required; Flxpoint connects to the feed automatically, so in Configure Settings you simply choose ASI US With Etilize or ASI Canada With Etilize, enter your Etilize Agreement Number, and select your Etilize Package (SpexBasic, SpexFLX, or SpexFLX with images) and Preferred Image Resolution. For mapping or setup guidance, contact support@flxpoint.com.

Get Inventory (Primary)
Imports the ASI catalog enriched with Etilize specs, attributes and images.

ASI US/CA with Etilize needs no connection setup on the connection form — Flxpoint connects to the Etilize feed automatically. Add an ASI US With Etilize or ASI Canada With Etilize source, then open Configure Settings and enter the values below, then click Save and Proceed.

Get Inventory — No Connection Setup Needed
Pre-Configured Etilize ConnectionAutomatic
Flxpoint connects to the Etilize feed automatically using credentials Flxpoint maintains — you do not enter a Host, Username, Password, or API Key. Add the source and proceed directly to Configure Settings.
Configure Settings — Required Before Get Inventory Runs
Etilize Agreement NumberRequired
Provided by Etilize and tied to your subscription tier. Required for enriched content (descriptions, specs, images) to load. Enter it exactly as provided by Etilize — no extra spaces.
Etilize PackageRequired
Choose the tier matching your Etilize subscription: SpexBasic (basic product specifications), SpexFLX (full specifications and rich attributes), or SpexFLX with images Add-on (full specs plus high-resolution images).
Preferred Image ResolutionSet
Choose 650x650 or Large (Etilize recommended). Requires the SpexFLX with images Add-on package.
Import Etilize Thumbnail ImageSet
Toggle to use the Etilize thumbnail image as your primary product image.
Configure Settings also includes an Archive/Un-Archive preference — enable it on one Get Inventory job only to avoid conflicting inventory states. ASI US and ASI Canada with Etilize are set up as separate sources, each with its own Configure Settings, Etilize Agreement Number, and mapping template. For Etilize Agreement Number or Package questions, contact your Etilize representative; for Flxpoint setup or mapping help, contact support@flxpoint.com.

No credentials required — the connection form shows "no additional connection information needed"

Unlike most integrations, ASI US/CA with Etilize does not require a Username, Password, or API Key on the connection form. When you select this integration and see a note that no additional connection information is needed at this stage, this is expected — proceed to Configure Settings to enter the Etilize-specific parameters.

Select ASI US With Etilize or ASI Canada With Etilize in Configure Settings — not on the connection form

In Configure Settings, choose either ASI US With Etilize (for the US catalog) or ASI Canada With Etilize (for the Canadian catalog). This determines which ASI regional catalog and Etilize content feed your GIP job pulls from. You cannot select both in a single integration — create separate sources if you need both US and Canada.

Etilize Agreement Number is required in Configure Settings — obtain from Etilize

Your Etilize Agreement Number is a required field in Configure Settings. It is provided by Etilize and tied to your subscription tier. If you don't have it, contact Etilize directly. Without it, enriched content (rich descriptions, detailed specs, images) will not load. Enter it exactly as provided — no extra spaces.

Three Etilize Package tiers: SpexBasic (specs only), SpexFLX (full specs), SpexFLX with images Add-on

In Configure Settings, select your Etilize Package based on your subscription: Etilize SpexBasic — basic product specifications; Etilize SpexFLX — full specifications and rich attributes; Etilize SpexFLX with images Add-on — full specs plus high-resolution Etilize images. Your package must match your actual Etilize agreement — selecting a higher tier than subscribed will cause content retrieval failures.

Etilize content not loading — incorrect Agreement Number or Package tier mismatch
If Etilize enriched content (descriptions, specs, images) is not loading after GIP runs: (1) confirm the Etilize Agreement Number is entered exactly as provided by Etilize — no extra spaces or characters; (2) confirm the Etilize Package selected in Configure Settings matches your actual Etilize subscription tier — selecting a higher tier than subscribed will cause content retrieval failures; (3) if using image resolution options, confirm you have the SpexFLX with images Add-on package; (4) contact your Etilize representative to verify your Agreement Number and package entitlements are current.
Wrong catalog loading — US products appearing for Canada or vice versa
If the wrong regional catalog is loading, verify that you selected the correct integration in the connector gallery: ASI US With Etilize for the US catalog or ASI Canada With Etilize for the Canadian catalog. This selection is made when creating the integration (before Configure Settings) and cannot be changed after the integration is created — you would need to delete the integration and recreate it with the correct selection.

How do I set up ASI US/CA with Etilize?
Go to Sources → + Add Source and complete the Source Wizard. After saving, go to Integrations → Get Inventory → Start Creating Integrations and select either ASI US With Etilize or ASI Canada With Etilize. You will see a note that no additional connection information is needed — this is expected. Click through to Configure Settings and enter: Archive/Un-Archive preference, Etilize Agreement Number, Preferred Image Resolution, Etilize Package, and Import Etilize Thumbnail Image toggle. Click Save and Proceed, then define your mapping template.
What are the Preferred Image Resolution options?
In Configure Settings, the Preferred Image Resolution dropdown offers two options: 650x650 (standard resolution, suitable for most catalog imports) and Large (Etilize recommended) — the highest available resolution, recommended by Etilize for best image quality. Select the option that matches your channel requirements. Note: the SpexFLX with images Add-on package is required to use the Etilize image resolutions.
Can I use both ASI US and ASI Canada with Etilize?
Yes, but each requires a separate source in Flxpoint. Create one source for ASI US With Etilize and a separate source for ASI Canada With Etilize. Each source will have its own Configure Settings (including Etilize Agreement Number and Package), its own mapping template, and its own GIP schedule. You cannot combine US and Canada catalog feeds into a single source.
