Ingram Micro US/CA with Etilize as a Source
Summary
Ingram Micro US/CA with Etilize combines Ingram Micro's electronics and IT distribution catalog with Etilize's enriched product content — richer descriptions, specifications, images, and attributes layered onto imported SKUs. It's available as Ingram Micro US With Etilize and Ingram Micro Canada With Etilize; no connection credentials are required since Flxpoint connects to the Etilize feed automatically, and you only choose your Etilize Package (plus optional SKU prefix and image settings) in Configure Settings. Etilize enriches GIP with richer product content — configured in the mapping template, not the connection
Etilize is a product content service that augments Ingram Micro catalog data with enhanced descriptions, specifications, images, and category data. The Etilize enrichment is configured within the GIP mapping template, not the Ingram Micro connection itself. The base Ingram Micro connection (FTP or API) remains the same as the standard integration.
Base connection: FTP (Basic Auth) or Ingram Micro API (Customer Number + API Token)
The underlying Ingram Micro US/CA connection supports two methods: FTP (Basic Auth) using FTP Protocol, Host, Port, User, and Password; or Ingram Micro API using Customer Number and API Token. Both connection types are compatible with the Etilize enrichment layer. Confirm with your Ingram Micro representative which access method your account is configured for.
Archive/Un-Archive can be enabled on one inventory job only — Flxpoint enforces this
Ingram Micro carries a very large electronics and IT catalog, so mass-archiving is high-impact. Flxpoint already enforces this limit: the Archive/Un-Archive setting can be enabled on only one inventory job (GIP or GIS) — you cannot enable it on both at the same time, even if you wanted to. This prevents conflicting archive states and accidental mass-archiving across product listings and channel inventory.
