How to connect - credentials you need

Add a Sex Toy Distributing source, then start configuring an operation from Get Inventory. When Flxpoint prompts you for a connection, click + New Connection, enter your API Key and API Login, then Test Connection → Save Connection. The same connection is reused across all operations.

Important - read before configuring

Two connection approaches — direct API (API Key + API Login) or feed-based via XR Direct

This integration uses an API Key and API Login for direct authentication. Separately, Sex Toy Distributing / XR Direct also exposes its catalog through three static feed URLs (Product XML, Image XML, Inventory CSV) — this is the XR Direct / Adult Dropshipper (ECN) integration with richer product data. Both methods connect to the same supplier. Confirm with your STD account representative which access method is provisioned for your account.

Credentials (API Key + API Login) come from Sex Toy Distributing — separate from website login

Your API Key and API Login are provided directly by Sex Toy Distributing. They are separate from any STD website login or reseller portal credentials. If you don't have API credentials, contact your STD account representative. Once you have them, enter them on the New Sex Toy Distributing Connection screen and click Test Connection.

Enable Archive/Un-Archive on one inventory job only — not both GIP and GIS

Flxpoint already enforces this limitation - the Archive/Un-Archive setting can be enabled on either GIP or GIS, but not both at the same time, even if you try to. Configure Archive on GIP (recommended), and use GIS for more frequent quantity and pricing refreshes.

Common issues

Test Connection failing — API Key or API Login incorrect

If Test Connection fails: (1) re-enter the API Key and API Login exactly as provided by Sex Toy Distributing — check for extra spaces; (2) confirm these are your API credentials, not your STD website login; (3) if credentials were recently issued, allow a few minutes for them to activate; (4) confirm with STD that API access is enabled for your account.
