TradeGecko as a Source

July 21, 2026

Summary

TradeGecko is a pre-built inventory management (IMS) source integration in Flxpoint. It connects using OAuth-style credentials (a Client ID, Client Secret and Refresh Token) and runs Get Source Products, Send Purchase Orders, and Get Shipments. For operation-level mapping guidance, contact support@flxpoint.com.

Get Source Products
Imports TradeGecko's product catalog: variants, options, images, and per-location pricing and inventory.
Send Purchase Orders
Sends Flxpoint fulfillment requests to TradeGecko as purchase orders for dropship fulfillment.
Get Shipments
Pulls TradeGecko fulfillment confirmations back into Flxpoint as shipments.

Add a TradeGecko source, start configuring an operation, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection. TradeGecko uses OAuth-style credentials: enter the values your TradeGecko account provides, then Test ConnectionSave Connection.

FieldWhat to enter
Client IDRequired
Your TradeGecko OAuth Client ID.
Client SecretRequired
Your TradeGecko OAuth Client Secret.
Refresh TokenRequired
The OAuth Refresh Token issued by TradeGecko. Flxpoint uses it to obtain and automatically rotate access tokens.

Only three operations are available on TradeGecko

TradeGecko implements Get Source Products, Send Purchase Orders, and Get Shipments. A separate inventory-only refresh and a dedicated images operation are not available for this source: Get Source Products already returns the full catalog including images and per-location quantity in one run.

Inventory reflects a single TradeGecko location

Get Source Products pulls stock quantity for one TradeGecko location, selected via a configurable Location ID. If your TradeGecko account has multiple warehouses, only the configured location's quantity is synced: it is not a combined total across all locations.

Variant SKU falls back to TradeGecko's internal variant ID

When a TradeGecko variant has no SKU set, Flxpoint uses TradeGecko's internal variant identifier as the Supplier Variant ID instead. Purchase orders are matched back to TradeGecko using this identifier, so a variant must be imported through Get Source Products before it can receive purchase orders.

Quantities look wrong or a warehouse seems missing
Get Source Products pulls stock for one TradeGecko location, selected via the configurable Location ID. With multiple warehouses, only the configured location’s quantity syncs: it is not a combined total.
Purchase orders fail to match items
Orders are matched using TradeGecko’s internal variant identifier, so a variant must have been imported through Get Source Products before it can receive purchase orders. When a variant has no SKU, that internal identifier is also used as the Supplier Variant ID.
Looking for an images or inventory-only operation
They are not available on this source. Get Source Products already returns the full catalog, including images and per-location quantity, in one run.

Which operations does TradeGecko support?
Three: Get Source Products, Send Purchase Orders, and Get Shipments.
What credentials do I need?
Your TradeGecko OAuth Client ID, Client Secret, and Refresh Token. Flxpoint uses the refresh token to obtain and automatically rotate access tokens.
What happens when a variant has no SKU in TradeGecko?
Flxpoint uses TradeGecko’s internal variant identifier as the Supplier Variant ID instead, and purchase orders are matched back using that identifier.
