How to connect: credentials you need

Add a Cart.com channel, start configuring an operation, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection, enter your Access Token and Domain, then Test Connection → Save Connection.

The two most common setup mistakes are entering the wrong key for Access Token and using the storefront URL instead of the required storename.americommerce.com domain.

Important: read before configuring

Access Token is the App secret key

In Cart.com, create a new App/Addon under Tools with the OAUTH2 flow, locate the Flxpoint app, and copy its App secret key into the Access Token field. Using any other key blocks the connection.

Domain format

Enter the domain as storename.americommerce.com. Using your public storefront URL instead will fail the connection.

Sync updates price and quantity

Sync Listings updates Quantity and Price on linked products. Publish creates new listings; Overwrite can update Title, Description, categories, MPN, UPC, GTIN, and Images on already-published variants.

Common issues

Test Connection fails on the Access Token

The Access Token must be the App secret key from the Flxpoint app in Cart.com (created under Tools with the OAUTH2 flow). Using any other key blocks the connection.

Enter the domain as storename.americommerce.com. Using your public storefront URL instead will fail the connection.

Shipment sync fails for an order

The shipping method is matched against Cart.com’s carrier list, and an unmatched method fails the shipment sync. Map your methods to values Cart.com recognises.

FAQs

My orders are not importing. What should I do?

First confirm the order status on your store matches the status set for the Get Orders operation. If it does, the order may be older than your date limit: check the Get Orders Created within the last X Days setting and increase it if the order predates that window.
