Summary
Meyer Distribution is an automotive and RV parts and accessories supplier that connects to Flxpoint over FTP. Unlike most FTP integrations, the FTP server is hosted by Flxpoint (ftp.flxpoint.com), so your FTP credentials come from Flxpoint Support rather than from Meyer, and the inventory feed is a single CSV file typically named Meyer Pricing.csv.

How to connect - credentials you need
Go to Sources in the left menu, click the + button, and start an FTP connection for Meyer Distribution. The FTP is provided by Flxpoint, not Meyer — enter the values from Flxpoint Support, then click Save Connection.

The Meyer source connects to a server hosted by Flxpoint (ftp.flxpoint.com). Contact Flxpoint Support to receive your FTP User, FTP Password and Port. Do not contact Meyer for these credentials – Meyer does not host the FTP server for this integration.
The inventory feed is a single file – an empty file archives all products
Get Inventory (Primary) reads a single CSV file (Meyer Pricing.csv) from the FTP server. If that file arrives empty due to a delivery issue between Meyer and Flxpoint, all existing Meyer inventory is archived (quantity set to 0). If Meyer products suddenly drop to zero, check the file with Flxpoint Support before assuming a configuration issue.
Fulfillment requests are sent as Cust PO – auto-acknowledgements are supported
Orders are submitted to Meyer as a Cust PO, configurable in the Send Fulfillment Requests mapping template. When an order is received, an auto-acknowledgement is returned as the Cust PO value in Meyer's response. Approved supplier shipping methods can also be included in the request.
Mapping - fields to know
Full catalog import. Flxpoint downloads a single CSV feed (typically
Meyer Pricing.csv) from the Flxpoint-hosted FTP configured on the connection, then creates or updates records against your mapping template. In Configure Settings you set the Archive / Un-Archive behavior and choose the mapping template. Primary brings generic pricing, weights & dimensions (with units) and categories, and supports both delta and full feeds plus archive. It does not bring quantity, images, client pricing, variations/options, custom fields or multiple warehouses – quantity comes from Get Inventory (Secondary).Faster, more targeted inventory and pricing updates between full Primary runs. Each SKU is checked and updated individually to keep availability accurate and avoid overselling. Secondary updates generic pricing, client pricing and quantity, and supports delta vs full feed and archive. It does not update weights & dimensions, multiple warehouses, or custom fields (variants only).
Submits orders to Meyer for fulfillment; a confirmation number is generated once the order is successfully received. Orders are sent as a Cust PO (configurable in the mapping template), and an auto-acknowledgement is returned as the Cust PO value in Meyer's response. Approved supplier shipping methods can be included in the request. Supports the fulfillment-request number, FR item association, auto-acknowledgements and shipping selection; it does not support customer association, custom fields or attachments.
Pulls shipment data (including SKU) back into Flxpoint and supports partial shipments – multiple shipment events can attach to one order. Invoice information and custom fields are not part of the Get Shipments response – use Get Invoices for billing data.
Retrieves invoice data from Meyer, including line-item costs, item association and freight costs at the order level. Use it to reconcile what Meyer billed against the orders submitted through Flxpoint.
Common issues
All Meyer products suddenly archived / dropping to zero quantity
This is almost always caused by an empty
Meyer Pricing.csv file arriving on the Flxpoint FTP server – Get Inventory (Primary) sees no items and archives everything. Before troubleshooting your configuration, contact Flxpoint Support and ask them to confirm the file on the server contains data. Once a valid file is confirmed, re-run Get Inventory (Primary) to restore quantities."Error in reading headers" / FeedFormatException on Get Inventory Primary
Flxpoint could not parse the headers of the CSV feed. Common causes: the file arrived malformed or partially written, the file format changed on Meyer's side, or the file is empty. Confirm the file contents and structure with Flxpoint Support. If the structure changed, review the mapping template so the header field names match what Meyer is now sending.
Order shows processed in Flxpoint but Meyer has no record of it
The submission likely failed silently or a required field was not sent. Check the Send Fulfillment Requests job log for an error on that order. A known requirement is a valid shipping address code – if it is not mapped or is missing, Meyer may reject or never receive the order. Verify the mapping template includes all required order fields, then contact Flxpoint Support with the order number if it persists.
FTP credentials not working / connection test failing
Meyer FTP credentials are issued by Flxpoint, not Meyer. Confirm you are using the FTP User, FTP Password and Host (
ftp.flxpoint.com) provided by Flxpoint Support. Credentials from Meyer are for Meyer's own systems and will not work for this integration. Contact Flxpoint Support to verify or reset your Flxpoint-issued credentials.Meyer inventory not reflecting when used alongside another source
When Meyer is a Get Inventory (Secondary) source next to another distributor (e.g. Turn 14 as GIP), the GIS SKUs must match the variant SKUs already created by the GIP source, or nothing updates. Confirm the Meyer feed SKUs match your existing variant SKUs, and that the GIS mapping template updates quantities rather than skipping or overwriting them with zero.

Products already in your catalog before the rule was added must be deleted manually – the rule prevents future imports but does not retroactively remove existing records.
Can I use Meyer as a secondary inventory source alongside another distributor?▸
Yes. Meyer can be set up as a Get Inventory (Secondary) source alongside a primary distributor (such as Turn 14). The Available Quantity in Flxpoint reflects the source mapped to that product; to combine quantity from multiple sources on the same SKU, configure your mapping template and inventory settings to aggregate rather than overwrite. If only one source's quantity shows, verify which source's GIP/GIS is mapped to the product and that the secondary source is not overwriting the primary value.
