BannerSolutions as a Source

July 17, 2026

Summary

BannerSolutions is a pre-built hardware and security-supplies integration in Flxpoint. It connects using a single API connection type — Environment (Test or Production), Username and Password — with credentials provided directly by BannerSolutions. The integration runs Get Inventory (Primary daily for the full catalog, Secondary for more frequent quantity refreshes), Send Fulfillment Requests, and Get Shipments; for operation-level mapping guidance contact support@flxpoint.com.

Get Inventory (Primary)
Imports BannerSolutions' full catalog — run once daily. Brings in products, descriptions, MSRP, brand/category and quantity.
Get Inventory (Secondary)
A lighter, more frequent refresh of quantity only, to keep stock current between daily full runs.
Send Fulfillment Requests
Sends orders (Fulfillment Requests) to BannerSolutions for dropship fulfillment.
Get Shipments
Pulls BannerSolutions shipment confirmations — ship date and tracking — back into Flxpoint.

Add a BannerSolutions source, start configuring an operation, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection, enter your Environment, Username and Password, then Test ConnectionSave Connection.

EnvironmentRequired
Selects Test (Sandbox) or Production for the BannerSolutions API. Use Test during setup, then switch to Production before enabling live GIP, Send FR, or Get Shipments schedules.
UsernameRequired
Your BannerSolutions API username, provided by BannerSolutions — separate from any BannerSolutions portal or website login.
PasswordRequired
Your BannerSolutions API password.
For extended operation setup and field mapping beyond connection, contact support@flxpoint.com.

Environment dropdown — ensure Production is selected before going live

The New BannerSolutions Connection screen includes an Environment dropdown. During initial setup and testing, use the Test environment. Before enabling automatic GIP, Send FR, or Get Shipments schedules for live operations, switch the Environment to Production. Running inventory or order operations in the Test environment will not reflect live data or route orders to BannerSolutions' production system.

Credentials (Username + Password) come from BannerSolutions — separate from website login

Your Username and Password for the BannerSolutions integration are API credentials provided directly by BannerSolutions — they are separate from any BannerSolutions portal or website login. Contact your BannerSolutions account representative to request API credentials if you don't have them. Without valid credentials, Test Connection will fail.

GIP daily for full catalog; GIS more frequently for delta updates — Archive on one job only

Run Get Inventory Primary once daily to import the full BannerSolutions catalog. Use Get Inventory Secondary on a more frequent schedule for pricing and quantity refreshes. Enable Archive/Un-Archive on one job only — enabling it on both GIP and GIS simultaneously creates conflicting archive states.

Test Connection failing — invalid credentials or wrong Environment
If Test Connection fails: (1) confirm Username and Password are entered exactly as provided by BannerSolutions — these are API credentials, not portal login details; (2) check the Environment dropdown matches the credentials you have — Test credentials will not work against the Production environment and vice versa; (3) if credentials were recently issued, allow a few minutes before retrying; (4) confirm with BannerSolutions that API access is active for your account. Contact Flxpoint Support at support@flxpoint.com if the issue persists.
Orders processed in Flxpoint but not appearing at BannerSolutions
If orders show as processed or sent in Flxpoint but don't appear at BannerSolutions: (1) confirm the connection Environment is set to Production — Test environment orders are not forwarded to BannerSolutions' live system; (2) verify the Send FR mapping includes all required fields (SKU, Quantity, ship-to address); (3) check the Send FR job log for any API error responses from BannerSolutions. Always submit a single manual test order and verify receipt at BannerSolutions before enabling automatic scheduling.

How do I set up the BannerSolutions connection in Flxpoint?
Go to Sources → + Add Source and complete the Source Wizard (Vendor Warehouse recommended). After saving, go to Integrations → Get Inventory → Start Creating Integrations and select BannerSolutions. On the New BannerSolutions Connection screen, select your Environment from the dropdown, enter your Username, and enter your Password. Click Test Connection to verify, then Save Connection. The same connection is reused across all BannerSolutions operations.
What operations does BannerSolutions support?
BannerSolutions supports: Get Inventory Primary (full catalog import), Get Inventory Secondary (delta price and quantity updates), Send Fulfillment Requests (order submission), and Get Shipments (tracking retrieval).
