Beauty Fort as a Source

July 17, 2026

Summary

Beauty Fort is a wholesaler specializing in beauty and personal care products — cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrance from well-known brands. The connection requires a Username, Password, and a Test Mode toggle, all provided by Beauty Fort. Set Test Mode to Yes only when using test credentials; set it to No for live operations. The integration runs Get Inventory (Primary and Secondary), Send Fulfillment Requests, and Get Shipments. For extended operation details and mapping guidance, contact support@flxpoint.com.

Get Inventory (Primary)
Imports Beauty Fort's full beauty and personal care catalog daily.
Get Inventory (Secondary)
Lighter, frequent refresh of pricing and quantity only.
Send Fulfillment Requests
Sends orders (Fulfillment Requests) to Beauty Fort for fulfillment.
Get Shipments
Pulls Beauty Fort tracking numbers and ship dates into Flxpoint.

Beauty Fort has one connection type — direct API authentication with your Username, Password, and a Test Mode toggle, all provided by Beauty Fort. Add a Beauty Fort source, start configuring an operation, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection, enter the values, then Test ConnectionSave Connection.

UsernameRequired
Your Beauty Fort API username, provided by Beauty Fort — separate from any Beauty Fort website or retailer portal login.
PasswordRequired
Your Beauty Fort API password, provided by Beauty Fort.
Test ModeRequired
Toggles Test (sandbox) vs live production. Set to Yes only when using test credentials during setup; set to No before enabling live GIP, Send FR, or Get Shipments schedules.
Test Mode must match your credential type — test credentials require Test Mode = Yes, production credentials require Test Mode = No; mismatched settings can cause silent failures or orders that don't reach Beauty Fort's production system. For operation-specific setup and mapping guidance, contact support@flxpoint.com.

Test Mode toggle — set to "No" before going live with inventory or orders

The New Beauty Fort Connection screen includes a Test Mode toggle. Set it to Yes when using test/sandbox credentials during initial setup. Switch to No before enabling live GIP, Send FR, or Get Shipments schedules. Running operations in Test Mode with live credentials (or vice versa) may cause silent failures or orders that do not reach Beauty Fort's production system.

Credentials (Username + Password) come from Beauty Fort — separate from website login

Your Username and Password for the Beauty Fort integration are API credentials provided directly by Beauty Fort — separate from any Beauty Fort website or retailer portal login. Contact your Beauty Fort account representative to obtain credentials. If you are switching from Test to Production, ensure you also have your production credentials before toggling Test Mode to No.

GIP daily for full catalog; GIS more frequently for delta updates — Archive on one job only

Run Get Inventory Primary once daily to import Beauty Fort's beauty and personal care catalog. Use Get Inventory Secondary on a more frequent schedule for pricing and quantity refreshes. Enable Archive/Un-Archive on one job only — enabling it on both simultaneously creates conflicting archive states.

Test Connection failing — credentials incorrect, wrong Test Mode setting, or API not provisioned
If Test Connection fails: (1) confirm Username and Password are entered exactly as provided by Beauty Fort — they are API credentials, not website login details; (2) check whether Test Mode matches your credential type — test credentials require Test Mode = Yes, production credentials require Test Mode = No; (3) if credentials were recently issued, allow a few minutes; (4) confirm with Beauty Fort that API access is provisioned for your account. Contact Flxpoint Support at support@flxpoint.com if the issue persists.
Orders processed in Flxpoint but not appearing at Beauty Fort
If Send FR shows success in Flxpoint but orders don't appear at Beauty Fort: (1) confirm Test Mode is set to No in the connection — Test Mode orders do not reach Beauty Fort's production system; (2) verify the Send FR mapping includes all required fields (SKU, Quantity, complete ship-to address); (3) check the Send FR job log for any API error responses. Always submit one manual test order in production and verify receipt at Beauty Fort before enabling automatic scheduling.

How do I set up the Beauty Fort connection in Flxpoint?
Go to Sources → + Add Source and complete the Source Wizard (Vendor Warehouse recommended). After saving, go to Integrations → Get Inventory → Start Creating Integrations and select Beauty Fort. On the New Beauty Fort Connection screen, enter your Username and Password. Set Test Mode to Yes if you are testing with sandbox credentials, or No for live production credentials. Click Test Connection, then Save Connection.
