Brandsgateway as a Source

Summary

Brandsgateway is a pre-built general supplier source integration in Flxpoint. It connects via API using an Email, Password and Store Name, and runs Get Inventory (Primary) for catalog identity, options and images, plus Send Fulfillment Requests. Pricing, stock and shipment tracking are not synced by this integration. For operation-level mapping guidance, contact support@flxpoint.com.

What this integration does

Get Inventory (Primary)

Imports Brandsgateway's product catalog: variants, attributes, and images.

Send Fulfillment Requests

Sends Flxpoint fulfillment requests to Brandsgateway as orders for dropship fulfillment.

How to connect: credentials you need

Add a Brandsgateway source, start configuring an operation, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection. Enter your Brandsgateway account credentials and store name, then Test Connection → Save Connection.

Important: read before configuring

Get Inventory (Primary) does not sync price or stock

Brandsgateway's catalog import brings in product/variant identity, options, attributes, and images only: pricing and stock quantity returned by Brandsgateway are not mapped into Flxpoint. Manage cost and quantity for Brandsgateway items separately rather than expecting them to arrive from this source.

No shipment tracking back into Flxpoint

Get Shipments is not implemented for Brandsgateway. Only Get Inventory (Primary) and Send Fulfillment Requests are available: order and tracking status need to be tracked another way.

Store Name must match an existing store in your Brandsgateway account

The connection looks up your store by the Store Name you enter and fails if no matching store is found. Enter the store name exactly as it's configured in your Brandsgateway account.

Fulfillment Request line → Product/Variation, Quantity	→ Order → Line Item. Required. Product and Variation IDs are parsed from the linked Supplier Variant ID.
Shipping Address	→ Order → Shipping Address.
Purchase Order ID	→ Order → Order ID.

Common issues

Test Connection fails

The connection looks up your store by the Store Name you enter and fails if no matching store is found. Enter the store name exactly as it is configured in your Brandsgateway account, and re-check the account Email and Password.

Prices and stock did not import

That is by design: Get Inventory (Primary) brings in product identity, options, attributes and images only. Pricing and stock quantity returned by Brandsgateway are not mapped into Flxpoint, so manage cost and quantity for these items separately.

No tracking is coming back into Flxpoint

Get Shipments is not implemented for Brandsgateway. Only Get Inventory (Primary) and Send Fulfillment Requests are available, so order and tracking status need to be tracked another way.
