OVERVIEW

Assigning and confirming inventory connects and cleans up your inventory: assign catalog SKUs to the sources that fulfill them, then verify and remap inventory SKUs where needed. Both run from the Product Catalog and Source Inventory grids.

ASSIGNING INVENTORY

Step	Action
1	From the Product Catalog, select the checkbox for each SKU to assign.
2	Click Actions, then Assign Inventory.
3	Select the checkbox for each source to assign the SKUs to.
4	Decide whether to also assign quantity, then click Assign Inventory.

REMAPPING INVENTORY SKUS

Field	Requirement
Location	Source Inventory, Actions, Remap Inventory SKUs.
Required headers	SKU and New SKU (case-sensitive).
Tip	Use the export tool to pull your current source SKUs as a starting file.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Note: When assigning inventory to a source, you choose whether to assign quantity at the same time. Assign quantity only if that source should carry stock for those SKUs.

Note: The remap upload requires columns named exactly SKU and New SKU. A mismatched header name causes the import to fail.

Note: Remap Inventory SKUs updates the source inventory SKU. It does not change Master SKU links — handle those separately.

How do I remap an inventory SKU?

Go to Source Inventory, Actions, Remap Inventory SKUs: choose the source, upload a CSV with SKU and New SKU columns, then Import Inventory SKU Remapping.

Where do I get a file to start from?

Use the export tool to export your source's current inventory SKUs, then fill in the New SKU column.
