The Master SKU is Flxpoint's unique, primary identifier — every product variant has its own. It connects and merges your Source Inventory and Channel Listings into one Product Catalog record, so a single product can be fulfilled by multiple sources and sold across multiple channels.

"Master SKU is not set" blocks a channel from syncing
A channel listing with no Master SKU cannot sync — this was seen on Gunbroker across 2,000+ items. Assign a Master SKU to each affected listing (use the Missing Master SKU filter or Import Master SKUs), then re-run the channel sync.
"This product has variants, but there are no available options" on publish
Identical items from overlapping sources built as separate variants under one Master SKU instead of merging. Rebuild using the Master SKU (or one shared identifier) as the merge key so the sources fuse into a single variant rather than optionless duplicates.
A product links or builds as a variant of the wrong parent
The builder matched on a shared identifier — usually UPC. Switch to a builder that merges only on Master SKU. Deleting and recreating the listing alone will not fix it while the builder identifier is unchanged.
Import Master SKUs did not update a listing variant's link
The Product Link picker resolves to parent Master SKUs only, so it cannot retarget one variant to a sibling variant under the same parent, and Import Master SKUs will not move a variant-level link either. Contact Support for these sibling-variant cases.

How do I set the Master SKU on my channel listings?
Three ways: the Import Listings integration (supported channels), the Import Master SKUs bulk tool, or manually per listing through Product Link.
If I re-import listings, do existing Master SKUs stay linked?
Yes. Future Import Listings jobs automatically link to existing Master SKUs. If no match is found, Flxpoint creates a new product with that Master SKU.
How do I remap my inventory SKUs?
Go to Source Inventory → Actions → Remap Inventory SKUs, then upload a CSV with SKU and New SKU columns. An export tool is available to start from your current SKUs.
Where do I find listings that are missing a Master SKU?
Use the saved filter Missing Master SKU under Needs Attention in Channel Listings.
