Archiving and Deleting Inventory

A SKU shows as Archived with 0 quantity even though the vendor has stock
The source stopped sending the item, or a discontinued/archive rule fired. Because archived items can be skipped by the secondary fetch, cost and quantity will not repopulate on their own. The integration that archived it must un-archive it; confirm the item is still in the feed and that an archive rule is not re-firing.
There is no way to un-archive from the UI, or to force a product back to Active
The Source Inventory Actions menu has no Unarchive/Restore option, and editing the variant does not clear the flag. For large batches, contact Support to bulk-clear; deleting and re-adding is not recommended as it causes sync issues.
Deleted inventory keeps coming back on the next sync
An automated Get Inventory Primary job reimports it. Add a Do Not Import rule in that source's Post Mapping Workflow (for example, block a brand or category you are no longer approved to sell).
What does Archived mean?
The item is discontinued or no longer offered by that source. Its quantity is set to 0; if other sources still carry it, their quantities continue to count.
Will listings linked to archived inventory stay on my channel?
Yes. The listing stays, but quantity goes to 0 once all linked inventory is archived. You can add a rule in the Listing Status Workflow to hide or delist listings at 0 quantity.
How do I un-archive an item?
Un-archiving is handled by the integration that archived it (for CSV/XLSX, the one with Archive/Un-Archive enabled). If the item has genuinely returned to the feed it should un-archive on sync; stuck cases need Support.
How do I stop deleted inventory from reimporting?
Add a Do Not Import rule in the source's Get Inventory Primary Post Mapping Workflow.
If I set a fixed quantity rule, will the item still archive to 0?
If the source drops the item from its feed (or your archive configuration fires), it can still be archived to 0 regardless of a fixed-quantity rule. Decide which integration controls archiving and configure it deliberately.
