| Field | Values |

| Dimensions | Length, Width, Height |
| Dimension units | Inches (in), Centimetres (cm) |
| Weight units | Pounds (lb), Ounces (oz), Grams (g), Kilograms (kg) |
Rate shopping returns no rate or an unexpected rate
The items on the fulfillment request are missing dimensions, weights, or units, so a package size cannot be derived. Confirm the values are mapped in Get Inventory Primary with the correct unit, or add them via a bulk customization.
Shipping Label cannot be purchased without all required dimensions and weight information?
This error occurs when Flxpoint cannot find complete size data for the items in a fulfillment request. Flxpoint first looks for dimensions in the Source Inventory variant; if they are missing, it falls back to the Product Catalog variant. Ensure dimensions and weights are populated in at least one of these locations. Note that shipping label calculations do not support auto-rotation, so ensure dimensions are entered to reflect the physical orientation required for the label.
What are dimensions and weights used for?
Real-time estimates such as rate shopping during order routing, and they can also be passed through to a sales channel.
Where do I set them?
Typically in the Get Inventory Primary mapping template with the correct unit. You can also set them manually or add them later in bulk.
What units are supported?
Dimensions in inches or centimetres; weight in pounds, ounces, grams, or kilograms.
Do product variants inherit the source dimensions?
Yes. Flxpoint auto-maps the source values into product variants unless they are specifically overwritten.
