Channel SKU Has Not Had a Link Attempted

July 20, 2026

Summary

Why a channel SKU shows no link attempt, and how to connect Flxpoint listings to existing channel products using the Link Listings integration, which matches on Variant SKU then UPC.

The Link Listings integration compares the listings you have in Flxpoint to the listings on your channel and connects any that match but are not already linked.

  • Connects existing listings — matches Flxpoint listings to channel listings and links them.
  • Matches on SKU then UPC — uses the channel’s linking priority: Variant SKU, then UPC.
  • Scans every product — Re-Link Listings scans all products; it cannot be narrowed to one SKU.

Link Listings has not runNo link has been attempted for that listingRun Re-Link Listings on the channel
Ran, no matching item foundA link was attempted but no matching channel product was foundConfirm the item still exists on the channel and is in Flxpoint’s listing index
  1. In Channel Listings, click Actions.
  2. Select Re-Link Listings at the bottom of the menu.
  3. Choose the channel to apply linking to, then click Run.
Note: The Link Listings action scans all products on the channel. You cannot narrow it to a specific SKU or subset.
Note: If a listing will not link, first confirm the item is still present on the channel you are publishing to.

Listing sits at “Not Listed” and shows no link attempt

Flxpoint never attempts a link. Run Re-Link Listings on the channel. If the product already exists on the channel but not in Flxpoint, bring it in with Import Listings first so it is in the listing index.

Re-Link Listings is greyed out / unavailable for a listing

The action is disabled when the listing is not in a linkable state. Confirm the listing is built and the matching channel product exists and is imported into Flxpoint.

Publish tries to create a new product and fails: “the product sku is a duplicate”

Instead of linking, Publish attempts to create a new channel product and hits a duplicate-SKU error. The listing is unlinked; link it on a matching SKU or UPC before publishing so it overwrites the existing product instead of creating one.

The UPC matches on both sides, so why will it not link?

Linking only runs when a link is attempted and the channel product is in Flxpoint’s index. If no link attempt is recorded, run Re-Link Listings; if the product is not in Flxpoint, use Import Listings first.

Can I link just one SKU?

No. Re-Link Listings scans all products on the channel at once; there is no way to target a single SKU.
