Understanding Listing Health and Linking Statuses

July 20, 2026

Summary

What each listing status icon means on Channel Listings: Listing Health (state on the channel), Linking status (connection to a channel item), queued actions, and Needs Attention flags, plus how to clear listing errors.

Every listing has a color-coded status icon. Hovering it shows notifications grouped into three types: Listing Health (state on the channel), Linking (whether it is connected to a channel item), and Needs Attention (issues to resolve).

  • Listing Health — whether the listing is Listed, Hidden, Not Listed, Delisting, or Paused on the channel.
  • Linking status — whether the listing is connected to an external channel item.
  • Needs Attention — flags issues such as a missing Master SKU or a sync error.
  • Force Sync — manually push price and quantity for already-linked listings to the channel on the next Sync job.
StatusMeaning
Not ListedNot yet linked or published to the channel (or unlinked).
ListedLinked and active on the channel, available for purchase.
HiddenLinked but inactive, not visible, or unavailable for purchase.
DelistingWas linked, since removed from the channel.
PausedFrozen; not synced or published even if queued.
Queued statusHappens on next job
Listed (Unhiding)Becomes active/visible after the next sync job.
Hidden (Hiding)Becomes inactive/invisible after the next sync job.
Delisted (Delisting)Removed from the channel and unlinked after the next sync job.
Published (Publishing)Created on the channel and linked during the next publishing job.
Overwrite Data (Overwriting)Listing content overwritten on the channel during the next publishing job.

Not all channels support hiding, unhiding, and delisting. Unsupported operations appear in the job notifications.

FlagWhat it means
Master SKU MissingThe listing is not connected to a product variant.
Price/Qty Sync ErrorThe listing could not update its price or quantity on the channel.
Content Sync ErrorThe listing could not publish or update its content on the channel.
Channel SKU Needs LinkingNot yet linked to a channel SKU and no link has been attempted. Run Re-Link Listings to resolve.

Channels can return publish or sync errors on parents and/or variants. Clear them before retrying.

  1. Variants view — filter where Variant Publish Error is Not Empty, fix the rules/mappings, then Actions → Edit → Clear Errors.
  2. Parents view — filter where Parent Publish Error is Not Empty, fix, then Clear Errors.
  3. Retry — publish or overwrite again; syncs run automatically on the next Sync Listings job.

What is the difference between Listing Health and Linking status?

Linking status shows whether the listing is connected to an external channel item. Listing Health reflects the true state of the listing on the channel (Listed, Hidden, and so on).

How do I resolve Channel SKU Needs Linking?

Run Re-Link Listings to connect the listing to the existing product on your channel.

Why does Force Sync not update everything?

Flxpoint only sends data that changed since the last sync. Force Sync is specific to price and quantity on already-linked listings — use Actions → Force Sync to queue that update on the next Sync Products job.
