QBP as a Source
Summary
QBP (Quality Bicycle Products) is a distributor of bicycles, cycling parts, and accessories, available in Flxpoint as a pre-built source integration. Two connection types are available: the free version (no images), which supports Get Inventory (Primary) only and uses an API Key plus a Warehouse Abbreviation; and the paid version (with images), which supports Get Inventory (Primary), Send Fulfillment Requests, and Get Shipments through the QBP API (API Key + Warehouse Abbreviation) and the QBP Shipment API (API Key). Get Inventory (Secondary) is not supported; for operation-level mapping guidance contact support@flxpoint.com.
QBP supports two connection types. Use the one that matches your QBP account — add a QBP source, start configuring an operation, and when Flxpoint prompts you click + New Connection, enter the values, then Test Connection → Save Connection.
support@flxpoint.com.Credentials (API Key + Warehouse Abbreviation) come from QBP — not a website login
Your API Key (and Warehouse Abbreviation, for the QBP API connections) are credentials provided directly by QBP — separate from any QBP dealer website or portal login. Contact your QBP account representative to obtain credentials if you don't have them. Without valid credentials, Test Connection will fail.
QBP does not support Get Inventory Secondary — use the paid connection for frequent price/quantity updates
Run Get Inventory Primary once daily to import the full QBP cycling catalog. QBP does not support Get Inventory Secondary — to refresh pricing and quantity more frequently, use the QBP (w. images) paid connection instead, which returns price and quantity through Get Inventory (Primary).
Cycling products may have specialized shipping requirements — confirm carrier codes with QBP
Bicycles and bike parts vary widely in size and weight. Confirm ShipVia/carrier codes with your QBP representative before configuring Send Fulfillment Requests. Run a single manual test order and verify receipt at QBP before enabling automatic scheduling.
